"Your tools made it possible to diagnose and fix problems that had persisted for over a year. When we installed QC Toolkit, it was like a light was suddenly turned on."

QC Toolkit™

OVERVIEW

The QC Toolkit™ is a multi-purpose module within the QC Enterprise™ software solution. It offers all of the interface technology necessary for communicating with host Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and lower-level Material Handling Systems (MHS).

Benefits of QC Toolkit™

  • Provides interface links to industry standard ERP/WMS systems such as Manhattan, SAP, Oracle, J.D. Edwards, etc.
  • Reduces system downtime with diagnostic tools
  • Makes better decisions using extensive management information
  • Improves efficiency by empowering users to create their own screens and reports

REPORTING

QC Enterprise™ provides extensive reports for managing your warehousing needs. All the necessary reports for managing orders, inventory, shipments, and transactions are integrated in your customized system. Reports can be created and customized to fit your system. All reports can be printed, and/or viewed as screen queries.

Our reports provide customer-designed details to easily manage your warehousing needs. We make this possible by providing simple, clean data-driven documentation for production analysis. Typical reports in a warehouse setting could include:

  • Orders
  • Inventory
  • Shipments
  • Transactions

DIAGNOSTICS & STATISTICS

QC Toolkit allows for a combination of both diagnostic and statistical analysis tools to monitor and troubleshoot the operational performance of your system.

Benefits of Diagnostics and Statistics

  • Oversees carton induction
  • Shows the efficiency of picking frequency
  • Monitors sort, packing, and shipping rates
  • Tracks work orders
  • Displays lane divert statuses
  • Tracks all scanners

INTERFACE

The WCS can seamlessly and accurately exchange information between other enterprise level systems. Includes:

  • Oracle
  • SAP
  • Manhattan
  • Red Prairie (JDA)
  • Infor (Provia)
  • HighJump
  • Epicor
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Custom systems

The WCS exchanges information in a number of ways depending on system requirements. This includes:

  • Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • FTP: Flat files
  • Socket messages
  • XML messaging
  • Database links
  • Email

NOTIFICATION MANAGER

The Notification Manager contacts key personnel when a system problem is detected. When a status condition is triggered, the Notification Manager sends an alert message to floor supervisors (or specified personnel) by a variety of communication devices including email, PDA, mobile phone, or pager.

Alerts are configurable and transmitted in real-time, thereby providing an early warning of a potential problem. The Notification Manager allows you to resolve system issues before they become critical.

FLEX SCREENS™

One of our most useful features of the QC Toolkit is the Flex Screens. Their purpose is to provide a highly customizable and "flexible" interface for accessing, displaying, and editing database information through the use of carefully defined SQL and XML instructions. The design of the system allows the user to easily define and customize Flex Screens.

Benefits of Flex Screens™

  • Provides a cost-effective approach to GUI development
  • Reduces production downtime for upgrades and enhancements to user interfaces
  • Provides enhanced user interactivity
  • Easily configurable by the end user
  • Allows screens to be customized to target facility
